onstantly searching for ways to improve
both product and service, UCI has
undergone major transformations since
its 1972 inception.
From the establishment of its first manufacturing
plant in the late 1980s and a major relocation to
Adelaide in the early 2000s to a change in name
(formerly Interlink), the company is now in the
best position in its history to deliver internationally
acclaimed product and workspace solutions.
UCI specialises in commercial furniture fit-outs,
environmentally accredited manufacturing, and
award-winning products with international
designers and local project management.
The manufacturing facility is certified to
the highest environmental, quality and safety
standards, while the range of products produced
(including other Australian-made and directly
imported ranges) provides a depth of offering
for all commercial fit-out applications.
UCI will double its range in 2013, with a focus
on breakout furniture and pieces that contribute
to collaborative workspaces. The company’s
brand new, professionally designed showroom
also provides the space necessary to articulate the
growing range, with a large collection of furniture
in the latest finishes on display.
As one of the biggest manufacturers of GECA-
and AFRDI-certified sit-stand workstations
(Paradigm) in Australia, UCI’s commitment to
sustainable and ergonomic design is as strong as
it has ever been. The company is the only
supplier of screen-based integrated air
conditioning (Task Air) in Australia, offering a
cost-effective and significant contribution to
green star building ratings.
UCI is constantly sourcing the latest products
on the market and is excited to introduce
Okamura’s new fully ergonomic Zephyr task
chair. It’s available in a range of vibrant colours
and is held in stock in Perth.
Amongst a number of both small- and large-
scale projects UCI has undertaken, one of the most
impressive was the company’s contract to secure
the supply, collection and refurbishment of 3500
workstations for the Sydney Olympics.
