The venue is divided into distinct zones aimed
at suiting the differing needs of its clientele.
ldfield Knott Architects was asked
to create three different zones that
are inviting for the local community
as gathering places for sport, music,
food and drink.
The Bistro Dining area is a classic space, with
sleek white vertical fins throughout the restaurant
and a black-and-white carpet design. The raised
lounge area offers guests comfortable lounge
seating by the fire and is contained between
feature screens. The different seating zones
cater towards the differing needs of the venue’s
patrons, who are certain to find the right setting
for whatever they require, from a quick snack to
a meal out with friends or a bigger celebration.
The client requested strategic use of lighting
to create ambience, a material selection to
withstand the heavy traffic flow within the
tavern, and for maintenance of lighting and
furniture to be kept at a minimum.
