30 MOORE STREET
Devwest Group provided a turnkey solution for a State
Government department on time and on budget
oming up to the expiry of the tenant’s
existing lease, Devwest Group
– along with Gavin Construction –
needed to complete the brief within
a very tight timeframe and ensure all security
issues were addressed.
A forward works building licence was obtained
in order to commence site works as quickly as
possible. This, combined with an accelerated
construction programme and overlapping base
build and fitout, meant the project was completed
on time and on budget.
The modern building features vibrant colours
incorporated into feature window surrounds and
Floor-to-ceiling energy-efficient glazing
along the more public south-west street side,
and south-east and north-east facades provides
a feeling of openness and visual connectivity
between the internal and external, as well as
passive surveillance. The northern facade is
punctuated with smaller and fewer windows to
provide privacy and security, because it overlooks
the adjacent public car park.
The building is predominantly concrete precast
panel to the north-west facade, with concrete
columns and beams with full-height glazing to the
north-east, south-east and south-west facades on
the ground floor.
The building exterior is clad in painted CFC
fixed to prefabricated timber trusses, with
Colorbond steel roof sheeting, while the first floor
slab is Deltacore.
Devwest Group would like to thank Gavin
Constructions, MKDC and Scope Interiors for their
work on this project.
