“THE GOAL WAS THAT
BOARD MEMBERS AND
NOTE A HIGH DEGREE OF
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
WITH THE FITOUT, AS
OPPOSED TO OPULENCE”
This newly established corporate advisory firm
was acutely aware that its offices would be a
significant determinant of how it was perceived
by the companies it sought to serve.
The goal was that visitors, including board
members and senior company executives, would
note a high degree of professionalism and attention
to detail with the fitout, as opposed to opulence.
After securing a great location on Kings
Park Road, Trojan Horse Interiors set about
transforming an existing tenancy fitout into
something that met Miro’s needs.
A design was quickly established and
fine-tuned, utilising existing structures
where practical, and providing a high-quality
client-facing area that would cater for a diverse
number of situations and occasions.
A substantial boardroom is accessed directly
off the lift lobby and is also linked to a client
lounge area via feature sliding doors. Both these
areas are positioned to have an outlook into the
greenery of the park.
The team’s work area has an open-plan design.
Trojan Horse Interiors put together a concept
that allows for easy communication across
desks, with plenty of communal space, including
teleconference rooms and a break-out area.
A repeat feature pattern is applied to
custom-made, low-height eco-panel screens,
painted gyprock walls and full-height clear glass.
The warm colour palette and the table lamps
create an intimate feeling, while placement of
working positions against the external glazing lets
plenty of natural light flood the space. Feedback
on the final product has been overwhelmingly
positive, from both clients and the team.
